This project utilizes the latest aerial photos, satellite images and the registered pollution sources to clarify the point and non-point source pollution for further interpretation; and data of field survey, water quality and ground water recharge to conduct the model simulation of water quality, the estimation of basin carrying capacity and the evaluation of water quality improvement options. One of the goals was to provide EPA with strategic planning and solid options of water quality improvements for better control and remediation of water resources in Donggang River basin.
